Curriculum
New Beginnings High School is a place where struggling students can realize their full potential and achieve academic excellence while earning a state-recognized diploma. Students are encouraged and motivated to create academic benchmarks that they can track. Their advisory teacher will provide individualized time ensuring every student stays on track to achieve his or her academic goals. Exceptional Student Education: services to help students that are emotionally or behaviorally disabled or have emotional problems develop learning skills to succeed in the classroom and beyond. English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL): services foster academic achievement, critical thinking, and problem-solving through engaging curricula, professional development, and advocacy for English learners. College and Career Advising: provide an all-in-one resource center dedicated to providing diversified solutions to students’ college and career objectives.

Inspired by the concept of architecture as a catalyst for innovation, our innovation labs provide students with an immersive and hands-on educational experience that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
Architectural design serves as the foundation for this unique part of our curriculum, enabling students to explore various disciplines, such as engineering, art, technology, and environmental sustainability. Through project-based learning, students engage in real-world challenges and develop practical skills that empower them to become problem solvers and change-makers.
In our Innovation Labs students have access to advanced software, 3D printers, laser cutters, and other industry-standard equipment, allowing them to bring their architectural visions to life. They learn how to conceptualize, design, and construct models and prototypes, honing their spatial awareness, visualization abilities, and attention to detail.
Collaboration and teamwork are essential components of our learning model. Students work together in interdisciplinary teams, mirroring the collaborative nature of the architectural profession. Through collective brainstorming, idea exchange, and constructive feedback, they develop effective communication and interpersonal skills that are vital for success in the modern world. By addressing real-world challenges through architectural solutions, students develop a sense of empathy, cultural appreciation, and global awareness.
